Families supporting Adults with Mental Illness in Alberta (FAMI-Alberta) is a grassroots community of volunteers who provide education, support and advocacy for families supporting loved ones living with serious mental illness. We’re currently focused in the Edmonton region, but are happy to hear from families across Alberta.

LEAP is for those who have a family member or friend who isn’t aware of their serious mental illness and who refuses treatment. LEAP works to achieve adherence to treatment by strengthening the relationship.
